Title:   Moldmade Bowl

Description:   Complete except for chips; mended from many pieces.
Medallion: rosette with two rows of ribbed leaves, surrounded by a scraped groove; from this spring a row of small ribbed leaves and two rows of large fronds.
Middle zone: Hermes wearing a cloak leads a quadriga bearing two figures to the left, toward a stele on which is inscribed ευσεβων <graphic>. To left of this a male figure plays the double flute among some tall reeds. Following the chariot: three indistinct figures (one is Demeter); a female armed with round shield, spear and helmet (Athena); a draped female with drawn bow and arrow (Artemis).
Rim pattern: tongue pattern, row of circles, double spiral, alternating palmettes and rosettes. Scraped groove below rim.
Orange clay. Black glaze, peeled in places.
