Description:   Bowl restored in plaster.
a) Mended from three pieces; preserves part of lip. Medallion missing. Ends of two rows of small pointed leaves visible at bottom. Lower zone: vine tendrils with bunches of grapes, dogs and Erotes in field. Middle zone: continuous frieze of horsemen riding left with torch held in one hand, each rider about to be crowned by an Eros, who hovers overhead. Rim pattern: band of alternating birds and rosettes, a row of double spirals, palmettes alternating with flowers of some sort. Cf. P 28595.
b) Mended from three pieces; from wall; preserves a bit of middle zone and rim pattern.
c) One fragment from wall; preserves part of scraped groove with miltos around rosette, surrounded by two rows of pointed leaves; also part of middle zone.
d) Fragment of rim; mended from three pieces.
Orange clay. Shiny black glaze.
