Description:   Mended from six pieces; complete except for handle and chips.Bottom half moulded. Base madallion: a rosette surrounded by a scraped groove with miltos from which spring eight rows of oblong (lotus?) leaves increasing in size toward the top; scraped groove with miltos about halfway up vase. Wheel made above the groove. Curved, almost horizontal shoulder decorated with panels of decreasing rectangles alternating with panels of checkerboard pattern, done in clay and added white paint. Neck decorated with scraped groove with miltos, pairs of teardrops in clay and blobs in added white. Broadly flaring flanged rim; trace of vertical double handle, from shoulder to lip.
Orange clay. Black glaze, somewhat worn below.
