Title:   Moldmade Bowl Fragment

Description:   Mended from three pieces; about two-thirds missing; full profile preserved. Medallion: Gorgoneion surrounded by scraped groove and beaded band, from which spring two rows of leafy fronds. Middle zone: Erotes with bow, arrow and sling, birds in flight; two large roosters flanking rosette. Rim pattern: tongue pattern, row of double spirals, palmettes. Scraped groove below rim.
Light orange clay. Peeling brownish to reddish glaze.
Context:   Cistern.
