Description: | Joins P 30005e. Two non-joining rim fragments. Flaring rim with flat top sloping outward. Offset from body. Below offset, a row of ovoles. Reserved bands inside, at rim and below rim. a) Preserves part of scene: woman with frontal torso turns head to left. She wears a sakkos, and her right arm is partly raised. At left, another figure of whom only one hand, open in a gesture toward the woman, is preserved. Black glaze inside, mottled, brownish outside and peeling. Orange clay. ADDENDA Perhaps P 31542 part of same vase. | |
