Description: | About half of circumference of neck and some of shoulder preserved. Upper neck missing. Mended from four pieces. At left, a figure facing right with left arm upraised as if in surprise. He wears a chiton, has long locks down his back, an ivy wreath on his head. Dionysos? To right, a female facing right, her left arm extended. She wears chiton and himation. Her hair is bound up in a fillet. Border at neck is top-key and saltire(?) squares. At side, zig-zags and dots. Black glaze outside, peeling. Inside unglazed except near top. Orange clay. Additional fragment: part of rim and female figure. | |
