Title:   Moldmade Bowl Fragments

Description:   a) Rim and upper wall; about one-sixth of rim. Top of calyx of jewelled fronds visible. On wall a winged figure with hat and winged boots, carrying caduceus in one hand, flies left. At left the same figure (Hermes) flies right. Nike flying right at far right. Kantharos? In field below, rosette above. Rim: alternating large and small leaves over double spirals, over ovolo. Scraped groove below lip.
b) Wall fragment broken all around. Part of a Hermes flying left.
Dull black glaze. Attic clay.
Context:   Cistern.
