Title:   Red Figure Askos

Description:   Chips and handle missing, also end of mouth. Ring foot, reserved underside and resting surface, lower wall black glazed. Upper wall divided into two tiers, the upper reflecting the area of a smaller bowl which held the actual liquid, i.e. something of a false vessel. Lower tier reserved, with alternating bands and lines of glaze. Upper band leaves done in red figure. Bands divided by a scraped groove. Glazed knob at top. Knobs protrude from either side of neck of spout. Similar, though not so elaborate, to P 30928.
