Title:   Black Glaze Mug Fragment: Pheidias Shape

Description:   Single fragment of rim and upper body. Ribbed body with stamped motifs. Volutes of palmettes are visible at right, indistinct motif at left. Perhaps same palmettes as P 31499. Jewelling(?) between tops of ribs. Neck set off by cabled ridge. Out-turned rim.
Dull brown glaze, tan inside.
