Wall, from left to right: wing and tail of bird flying left; Eros flying right; signature: <graphic> retrograde, running from bottom to top; right arm and wing of frontal Nike, with bird flying left above her. Trace of tip of frond of calyx below, to left of signature. Rim pattern: pairs of double spirals (probably surmounted by leaf, but very worn), over beading, over guilloche. Scraped groove below rim, with miltos. Metallic black glaze, peeling on rim. | |
