Description: | a) Rim to wall fragment. b) Complete base. Low angular foot ring, conical body, vertical rim with overhanging flange at bottom, groove marking off lip at top. Slight stilt marks on floor (2) and edge of foot. Glaze concentrations on lip (so fired inverted). Light grayish-buff clay, whitish decayed lead-alkaline glaze all over, appearing bluish green where thicker (around rim and botttom). Cf. P 6995. | |
