Description:   Heavy, triangular sherd perhaps from an amphora.
Unglazed interior and streaky, brown-glazed exterior. Three chips in exterior surface leave inscription intact save for the one near the upper right corner which damaged the final sigma of the candidate's name.
The inscription reads: <graphic>
Pale orange fabric with fine to moderate white inclusions.
Context:   Panathenaic Way north of poros channels, layer R.
