Title:   Potter's Test Piece Fragment

Description:   Single fragment preserving large part of test piece, including top and portion of both side edges. Piece cut from the neck of a large closed vessel. Traces of paint, poorly preserved and mostly worn, on exterior. Interior evidently reserved. Paint on exterior fired red, as is that on top edge.
Clay core and surfaces fired close to pink 7.5YR 7/4.
