Description: | Single fragment preserving entire base and portion of lower body of wall; from an open vessel, probably a one-handled cup. No edges or draw hole preserved. Exterior painted, except for possible reserved band on lower foot. Interior also painted, save for small reserved disk at center. Paint much worn. Clay body and reserved surfaces fired close to pinkish gray 7.5YR 7/2 (the result of reduction firing). Cf. P 17245. | |
