Title:   Potter's Test Piece

Description:   Five joining fragments preserving large part of test piece, including three edges and almost half of draw hole. Piece cut from neck of closed pot, probably amphora. Paint on interior and edges thickly applied, fired black. Interior painted solidly; exterior reserved. Piece optimally fired.
Clay body and reserved surfaces fired close to pink 7.5YR 7/4-8/4.
