Description: | Single fragment preserving nearly complete profile. Convex bottom, rounded junction with vertical wall. Projecting rim, interior with sharp raised ridge and groove for lid. Vertical strap handle, flattened oval in section, attached at base of wall and at lip, loop extending above rim. Coarse buff-pink clay with fine white and mica inclusions. Exterior surface gray with carbon. ADDENDA Fabric perhaps Phocaean, suggests J. W. Hayes. | |
