Description:   Mended from many fragments, preserving entire profile. Half of rim, portion of neck wall and top of one handle missing. Entire base preserved. Body with many gaps, partially restored in plaster. Glaze worn in places. On neck at center, between panels, both sides have horizontal series of lozenged lines. In panels, as fill ornament, two concentric circles one above the other, with eight-pointed spokes and dots. Rim, shoulder, foot and lower wall glazed; bands on body. Tops of handles decorated with three series of horizontal bands framing an X; below, three vertical lines flanked by a wavy one.
Streaky black glaze.

Context:   Middle stoa, under north aisle. "Upper trench" - burial I 13:5. Baskets 86N and 102N.
Handling:   should have padding under the foot to prevent cracking and abrasion and should have support around the foot to prevent it from being knocked over
