Description:   Mended from many fragments. Missing rim, one handle, and fragments from the body. Dull black streaky glaze with patches of red on one side. Flaring ring foot, ovoid body with high center of gravity, and strap handle running from high on neck to shoulder. Whole surface painted solid except for narrow zone on lower body near foot decorated with two horizontal bands, and a larger one below shoulder with double axes separated by rows of ten vertical lines enclosed between triple bands. Reserved panels on neck, with hatched maeander framed above and below by two black bands. Reserved: underside and resting surface; inside and striped outside of handle.
Fine orange fabric.
