Title:   Ostrakon of Themistokles

Description:   Single black glazed rim fragment, broken at neck-join. Surface chipped.
Krater fragment with band of purple on inner edge of rim.
Incised letters on vertical exterior edge give in two lines part of the name and demotic (or patronymic?) of Themistokles, broken off on left side. <graphic>
Pink fabric, black glaze (high gloss).
Context:   Beneath Wall 12 at south end. Grey layer of crushed bedrock.
Handling:   Placed into a zip-lock polyethylene bag and labelled with conservation number.
