Title:   Red Figure Cup Fragments: Inscribed

Description:   Mended into two fragments (a, b) with three loose sherds. About one-third of bowl with only exterior of tondo; one handle. Glaze worn and flaking.
Black-glazed lip offset on interior, concave on exterior. Horseshoe handle arched upwards. Rim black glazed inside and out. Coral red on interior between tondo and rim, on exterior below rim. In tondo: long-jumper bending forward, one hand stretched behind, holding weight. Discus in bag hangs in field to left of head. Incision for hairline contour. Added red for wreath and inscription. Dilute line for shoulder. One drill hole of ancient mend.
Fine powdery orange clay; coral red and shiny black glaze.
