Title:   Cup Fragment with Maker's Stamp and Rouletting

Description:   Four joining fragments make up one side, from base to rim; one loose fragment.
Wide conical flaring body, low squarish foot around a flat base; rather high vertical rim with projections at top and bottom, marked off by grooves and rouletting. Two narrow grooves/ insets inside lip.
Remains of a square potter's stamp at center of floor: P O I?
Orange-red clay, medium-thin, orange-red gloss, finely pitted.
ESB '1/2' ware? Forerunner of Atlante form 70. Eastern Sigillata "B".
