Description: | Three non-joining pieces, worn and flaking. a) from rim to base. b) and c) from base/floor. Low sloping wall, small everted lip with groove on top. Flat floor, broad foot with slanting underside. Remains of fine grooves on floor: two around missing central stamp, +1+1. Poorly fired ware, light orange-brown, with worn red gloss. Thin double dipping streak. Atalante form 3 (Augustan period). Context material ca. AD 10-30, with a few later intrusions. Eastern Sigillata B1. | |
