Title:   Black Glaze Kantharos Fragments

Description:   Many joining fragments preserve base, three-quarters of body, both handles and part of rim (a). One handle joins but is not attached (b). Glaze worn.
Underside shaved flat to level of groove in resting surface. Sloppy scraped groove between mouldings on lower foot. Cone with nipple underneath base. High tapering stem. Spurs at level of rim, slightly flaring.
Matte black glaze, mottled red in patches.
Context:   Pyre.
