Title:   Black Figure Oinochoe

Description:   Almost complete: missing handle, and rim where handle attached. Chipped at base and spout. Glaze well preserved. Low projecting ring foot. Globular body, short narrow neck and trefoil mouth. Glazed: interior and exterior of neck, exterior of foot, stump of handle, band at neck and two bands on lower section of body. Streaky wash on interior and underside of foot. On reserved area of body two figures walking toward right. At left, male youth playing a flute (?). At right, a female holding a stand (?) on her head. Two vine tendrils coming up from lower border. Incised details. Traces of added white.
Orange fabric, black glaze fired orange in places.
