Title:   Bowl Fragments with Rouletting

Description:   Two non-joining rim fragments a) and b), and one side of floor with part of foot ring (c). Hayes (LRP) form 85, shallow version: low rounded wall, narrow tilted rim, shallow floor, thin tilted foot ring of medium height. Pair of fine grooves on rim. On outside, neat rouletting in two zones, separated by two grooves, ending some distance from the foot.
Thin clean brick-red ware; thin slip, almost absorbed on outside.
African red-slip ware.

Context:   Lowest layer above bedrock.
