Title:   Lagynos with Paint Decoration

Description:   Parts of handle and side wall missing. Low body, side wall meeting shoulder in obtuse angle; neck high, lip thickened; strap handle doubly grooved. Bands of red paint around lip, root of neck, junction of shoulder and side wall (a line on shoulder above, and on side wall below) and juncture of side wall and base ring. On top of the shoulder there were wreathes of which traces of two remain.
Dark buff clay; the white paint is much rubbed; decoration is in red paint.
