Description:   Half of the side wall and a little of the bottom remains. Restored in plaster. Slightly bulging bottom; high side wall sloping outward; the rim is plain outside - on the inside it has a narrow ledge to receive the lid. There remains one vertical loop handle set on the rim; at one point, lip slightly deflected to form rudimentary spout.
Coarse red clay, unglazed, blackened by fire on outside.
Context:   Cistern.
