Title:   Jug with Gouged Decoration

Description:   Intact except for missing mouth, foot chipped.
High ovoid body on spreading ring foot. High neck widens toward lip, ridged handle. Wheel grooved shoulder and base of neck; upper body with short oblique gouges.
Light orange clay. Unglazed.
Similar to Agora V, M 299 (early 5th c. A.D) or L 44 (late 4th c. A.D).
Decoration similar to P 34666.
Context:   West Trench, Well, Layer VII.
