Title:   Jug with Gouged Decoration

Description:   Intact except for small chips at rim. Slip worn.
Slightly curved lip. Upper body with deep oblique gouging, vertical against one side of handle; lower section of upper body overlapping with a series of wheel ridges. Sliced handle with three vertical incisions.
Orange clay, partial dull red brown slip, fired dark brown where thick.
Early 5th c. A.D.
