Title:   Jug with Gouged Decoration

Description:   Intact except for broken rim, foot chipped around whole perimeter.
Biconical body. Continuous wheel ridges on neck and top of body, band of oblique gouges beneath. Ridged handle. High ring foot.
Light orange clay.
Somewhat similar in shape to Agora V, M 295, early 5th c. A.D. (P 11566); same decoration as P 34655.
Context:   West Trench, Well, Layer VII.
