Title:   Vessel Fragment: Cooking Ware

Description:   Whole of base with most of lower wall but for large gap in floor, mended from many fragments (a). Three body/shoulder fragments mended from several pieces (b-d). Fragments b and d joined but not mended.
Large cooking ware jar, with flat base; tall body of undetermined height; shoulder curving in, neck becoming vertical. Interior and exterior surfaces roughly burnished smooth. Exterior somewhat better finished than interior.
Clay body and surfaces fired close to reddish yellow 5 YR 6/6-6/8.
A few non-joining fragments in context are almost certainly from this vessel (at least 6 fragments).
