Title:   Cup Fragment: Red Gloss Ware

Description:   Half of base of a conical-bodied cup (center missing).
Small foot; offset band on bottom. Angle on interior between wall and floor.
Light orange ware, smooth-textured; thin orange slip, slightly glossy and patchy on exterior, dull on bottom and floor, lightly polished on interior wall.
Red-gloss ware, possibly a variant of the Pontic ware.
Context: ca. 50 A.D. (or later?)

Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   Hellenistic and early Roman fill, extension. Upper fill.
