Description:   Neck, handles, and most of shoulder mended from five pieces (lower breaks suggest more pieces found).
Broad cylindrical neck with slight cavity at bottom, rounded rim-molding; broad-bellied, with sloping shoulder, faintly ribbed. Thickish strap handles (a 'sliced' edge, faintly ridged exterior) looped from upper neck to mid-shoulder.
Deep stab-marks on interior behind both ends of handles.
Deep brown ware with much fine mica; surface wash.
W. Asia Minor/Samos? A forerunner of the L. Roman 'Samos' series?
Context: ca. 100-150+ A.D.
