Description:   Mended from several fragments. Body complete but some body sherds are chipped at the edges, no gaps. Handle attachment preserved. Glaze flaked in large part.
Low broad ring foot, flat underside. Low squat body, shoulder offset from body by ridge, tall neck with flat flaring rim slightly warped.
Glaze mottled from black to reddish brown.

Notes:   Probably from Pyre J 2:24 (SIR).
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   Fill north of Wall 4.
Handling:   Please take care not to handle the vessel too much, the gloss is poorly attached to the ceramic and comes off when touched
