Title:   Skyphos Fragment: Corinthian Type

Description:   Mended from numerous fragments (some added later from lot) and preserving one side of a thin-walled skyphos (whole profile) with whole base and one horizontal horseshoe handle.
Lowermost portion of body decorated with cross-hatching. Flaring ring foot, two concentric circles with central dot on underside.
Reserved: interior of handle, handle zone, inner band at lip, decorated band just above foot and underside.
Attic clay fired pale orange to gray in reserved zones. Shiny black glaze on interior, dull on exterior.
Conservation Status:   Finished
