Title:   Black Figure Amphora Fragment

Description:   From the wall of a large, probably closed vase. Upper frieze, two feet of a lion facing left. A line separates this frieze from the lower one, in which a series of large birds following each other to the left, heads close to the ground. The body of one and the head of another remain. Wing retouched in red.
Buff clay.
Orientalizing, Attic animal frieze style.
