Title:   Pedestal or Altar Fragment: West Slope

Description:   Broken off to the left and behind. The corner of an altar or a pedestal for something. Flat projecting horizontal base; straight side walls; cornice-like projecting moulding above. On the upper surface, traces of a thin walled rectangular object. Front and side walls decorated with garland in white paint and thin clay.
Pinkish buff clay; red to black glaze inside and out.
Context:   Red Hellenistic fill. Late 2nd. to early 1st c.
