Title:   Slip-coated Bowl with White Paint Decoration
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Nearly complete but for few gaps in body and at rim. Mended from many fragments. Glaze worn on the inside.
Low ring foot. Oblique wall. High vertical keeled rim, wall slightly convex. Pair of grooves just below lip and above flange at bottom of rim. Two horizontal ribbon handles. Concentric groove at center of floor.
Decoration in white paint over dark red slip (partial): spirals and loops on rim and strokes on handles.
Bright orange fabric with white inclusions.
3rd-4th c. A.D.
