Title:   White Ground Bowl with Lid Fragments
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Only small fragments are preserved from the rim of bowl and lid. Identity of fabric and diameter make their association very probable. The bowl had an almost vertical lip with a ledge inside to receive the lid.
Both bowl and lid are of fine buff clay, covered with a firm white paint on the outside. There is a band of brown paint around the outer edge of the rim of both members and a line of brown dots just inside the rim of the lid.
