Description: | From the shoulder of a lagynos. The shoulder is covered with a white slip, serving as a ground for decoration in reddish brown paint. The decoration consists of looped festoons of ribbon, with hanging ends from the upper points of each loop. The ribbon is represented by a succession of large round brush dobs. In the field, dot rosettes. Red line around outer edge of shoulder; lower body painted red-brown. Slightly micaceous pink clay. | |
