Title:   Black Figure Bowl Fragment

Description:   From the side wall of a large bowl, unglazed inside, with a plain rim on the outside; inside, a ledge to receive a lid. Black glaze on upper face of lip. On the outside, in red, an object; its outline is incised, and it resembles in shape part of a wing, but the incision on its end reminds one of a lion's or panther's paw. End surrounded by dots. In field, blobs surrounded by dots; and three parallel strokes.
Orientalizing style.
