Title:   Black Figure Lekanis Fragment

Description:   Lidless lekanis. Lip thickened inside and out. Of upper animal frieze, preserved part of wing of siren left, part of back and tail of panther right. Incised rosettes in field. In reserved band on upper face of rim, two rows of dots. Purple red on siren's wing and one rosette. Interior glazed.
Pink Attic clay, creamy slip outside; brownish red glaze.
