Title:   Black Figure Skyphos Fragments

Description:   Three fragments from a large skyphos with up-turned handles and short concave lip. Handle band covered with brown wash. Palmettes beside handles, seated sphinxes facing palmettes. Behind sphinx, on largest fragment, part of a draped figure seated on a cross-legged stool. Mottled red-black glaze on upper part of outside. Brilliant sealing wax red inside, and on outside below figured band. No incision. Reserved line around inner edge of lip.
