Title:   Black Figure Volute Krater Fragment

Description:   Perhaps from the neck of a volute krater; good black glaze inside.
Outside, procession left; first, armed warrior carrying spear and shield; purple for rim of shield; white for emblem; front half of lion. Then, draped man, carrying a spear, waving farewell; then front of two horses of a chariot. Purple for fillet, horses' mane and borders and spots on drapery. White for spots on drapery. Hair of horses' mane incised on the plain clay.
Notes:   Why is this included, probably inside House Q.
Context:   Red fill beside Roman house Q, wall. B'building fill.
