Title:   Hydria Fragments

Description:   Five fragments, much mended; none of neck or base preserved.
Lower body, to shoulder, covered with triple bands interrupted by simple, double, and crossed zigzags. In panels on shoulder, front and back, processions of mourning women in long dresses, right? All but one broken off at bottom of skirt. Above, checkerboard pattern; chevrons in field between figures.
Other fragments found later in tins join the pieces originally labelled a), b), and e) to each other, and give the curve of the body from just above the base to the shoulder; the whole strengthened with plaster. One small additional fragment does not join; this is fragment f).
