Title:   Lekanis Lid Fragments

Description:   a) Part of rim with a lion, head missing, walking to right; behind him the head of a siren?
b) Rim piece of same lid with the body of a bull walking left.
Incised lines and red paint used on the animals and in the rosettes that fill in the gaps in the broad animal band. Above this band and separated from it by a brown painted line, circle of more elaborate rosettes. Above this, dots. Inside unglazed.
