Description:   Round-bodied bowl, fragmentary, about half preserved. In shape similar to a Megarian bowl, but with moulded masks serving as feet. One preserved, joins with a large group of fragments which gives the profile from foot to rim. Another mask, and several other fragments, do not join. Restored in plaster.
Outside, two wheelrun grooves, reserved and painted with clay color; one just below the lip, a second lower down. Between these, dolphins alternating with palmettes, the dolphins painted in clay color with details incised through to the glaze. Further details added in white over the clay color. The same white seems to have been used to outline the palmettes but the paint has disappeared, leaving only a dark stain.
Fine light red clay; excellent red glaze.
