Title:   Plate Fragment: West Slope

Description:   The base and the middle of the floor remain. High plain base ring. In the middle of the floor an 8-pointed star formed by overlapping crosses in white and yellow, surrounded by a groove scratched in the glaze. The circle is enclosed by a square drawn in a white dotted line. Adjoining two sides of the square are pendent olive wreaths, stems in white, leaves in yellow. Along the other two sides are pendent necklaces, one accompanied by a garland of grape, the other by a garland of ivy. Necklaces and leaves in yellow, flowers in white.
Somewhat flaky black glaze; careless work.
Notes:   Not deposit G-H 10-11; only those objects north of polygonal wall are considered in that deposit.
Context:   North of Tholos, clearing to south of E-W polygonal wall, just below level of its top. context 3rd. to 2nd. c. B.C. Found with P 5911, P 5914.
