Description:   Similar to P 5999 (Γ 1600), but larger. The floor flatter and rim slightly undercut inside at junction with the floor by a groove. Traces of stacking and a spot fired reddish at center of floor. Glaze down the upper part outside; dripped below.
Metallic black glaze.
Restored in plaster.
ADDENDA P 5999: Similar to P 5998 (Γ 1599) in shape and fabric. P 5998: Similar to P 5997 (Γ 1598) but with ring foot; rim less flaring and the junction of rim and floor sharply set off inside. P 5997: Raised base, concave below, sharply profiled at junction of floor and wall; outward flaring rim.
