Title:   Eschara with Lid

Description:   a) Basin: Most of wall and rim and one-third of foot missing. A shallow bowl on a high hollow flaring foot, convex underside, carefully finished. Traces of lugs on the lip, one on either side.
Coarse red clay, covered with a thin brown wash on inside. Hard clay, 2.5YR 6/6.
b) Lid: Many fragments of wall missing. Deeply convex with a great hollow knob on top. Coarse red clay covered with thin red wash on outside only.
Context:   Well to west of Tholos.
